How to Make a Wine Glass

To make a wine glass here are some very simple steps.

1) make a 2D figure using a pline comand i-e polyline comand.
2) You will need some tricks in it like changing the direction of a polyline.
3) You can change the direction using the "direction" comand while using sketching pline.

Note: keep it in mind if you are planing to extrude or revolve a 2D figure you should make a "closed" figure i-e your polyline must not b open.

4) make a cross-sectional view of wine glass using Pline comand.

5) use the "revolve" comand and select an axis around which you want to reolve your object. In this case you need an axis which is parallel to the 2D figure you just made.

you can select the axis as shown in the figure below.

6) After revolving you'll get simple 3D wine glass like this.

You can add details like "transparency", smoothness etc i'll demonstrate it later. The main purpose of this post was to master the "revolve" comand.
