Yale Key 3D model

hi guys today i am going to show you how to make a key.
I selected my own room key for this purpose.

1) getting started, first of all make a new autocad file and save it.

2) make a 2d sketch according to the dimensions of the key as shown.

3) Extrude it according to the thickness of the key.

4) after extrusion you need to select the upper face and draw the pattern of the desired key using pline command.

5) then you need to extrude and subtract the pattern you just made.you get a figure like this.

6) Now there were two slots on each side of the key. I made an arc and then use "rotate" command to make a pallete shaped object on one of the surfaces of the key.

7) Copy the pallete and move it to the desired positon.

8) Subtract the palletes from the key and you will get two slots on one side of the key.

9) Repeat the same steps to make two slots on the other side of the key.

10) now make the key hole.

11) Finally mention the name of the product, in this case it was "YALE"
